I was born in Cuba and left when I was three years old. I grew up in Chicago and then moved to FL when my parents retired.. I met my husband in FL and we got married in 1988. We had a daughter Melissa who is 18 years old now.. Where does the time go? I was divorced in 2002 and I am as happy as can be..

I am a Teacher, tutor, first aid nurse to my daughter, poet, writer, and many other things.. but mostly I am a Mother.

I like to read, write poetry and short stories. I love the outdoors and enjoy going camping, swimming, hiking, boating, dancing. I like to crochet and do needlepoint. There are a lot of things I would love to do but lack the time.. perhaps I will do them when I retire.. lol
